Home About Lisa Properties Selling Buying Buying

When you visit a model home without your own representative, you get the "Duty" agent.
In the majority of cases, You also completely give up your right to be represented by your own agent.

How can this happen? They don't actually deny you the ability to hire a representative, that would be illegal. They merely refuse to pay your agent a commission, which means that YOU will have to pay it if you want to be represented by your own agent. Unfortunately, there's rarely a sign on the door, or warning by the duty agent regarding this practice, and most buyers don't find out about it until it's too late.

Too late for what? Too late to receive any of the services that I provide for buyers of new construction homes. You'll pay exactly the same amount for the home, but with their agent, you'll receive far less in terms of service.
